The origins of Southern Queensland Steel are founded in the well-known and respected Southern Steel Group, based in Sydney, New South Wales. Today, Southern Queensland Steel is the state's largest privately owned steel processor and distributor, operating from a warehouse and processing facility at Wacol, west of Brisbane.
